Deputy Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman, who has recently been questioned twice by police in the past few months, on Monday referred to the investigations against him and his tone become increasingly serious when he said that if his activities were stopped, he has no reason to remain in the Knesset.
Speaking at a political meeting in Ashdod, Litzman referred to the investigations being conducted against him. He said: “This unity must begin within us, mutual assistance, assistance to everyone, and there is almost no family that has not been assisted by the Ministry of Health, and this is our motto: to help everyone, regardless of identities.”
Litzman added another complaint leveled against him states, “There is a law that every institution needs to hold a license, and a secular state institution does not need it, and there is an institution that has not been approved for a long time. I personally visited there and saw that everything is fine”.
Litzman went on to describe: “I asked the professionals – they said they could approve, but they filed a complaint against me, because there are those who have a goal to persecute those who do the work.”
Litzman stated: “If an attempt is made to stop the activities of the public complaints departments of Agudas Yisrael, we have nothing to look for in the Knesset.”
