Yishai Blames the Pollsters for Torpedoing His Election Campaign

The chairman of the Yachad party, Eli Yishai, who according to the polls will not be entering the next Knesset, came out harshly against the Yisrael Hayom poll at the end of the week which showed his party does not pass the minimum threshold to enter Knesset. Yishai feels that this is being done intentionally, out of fear that if elected he will prevent a coalition government between Binyamin Netanyahu, Yair Lapid, and Benny Gantz.

According to Yishai: “you are reading correctly, not 2% and not 0.1% but 0.0%. Do you know why I was happy? Because finally everyone is showing his true face, the true face of the election polls. Friends, please tell me, the pollsters, do you really think that someone believes you when you say the Yachad party received no percent whatsoever?”

Yishai adds there are those who fear him in Knesset and there is good reason for this fear, as he explains he would prevent the formation of a coalition government between Bibi, Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz. “Hence, they are doing everything in their power to torpedo my campaign to get into Knesset,” he exclaimed.

To prove his point, Yishai explains in the last election his party boarding 126,000 votes when it was running together with Otzma Yisrael, headed by Michael Ben-Ari and Itamar Ben-Givir.
