At the end of this week, on Thursday night to Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 AM, Israel moves to daylight savings time, moving clocks an hour forward to 3:00 AM.

Daylight savings time is scheduled to end on motzei Shabbos, October 27, 2019.

Minister of the Interior Aryeh Deri, said that “the spring has arrived and this Friday we will move to daylight saving time, and we all enjoy another hour of light that will help the economy, save energy and the general public will enjoy it.”
