On motzei Shabbos at 9:00 PM, a Degel Hatorah election event was held at Beis Medrash Lederman on Rashbam Street in Bnei Brak and called by HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky.
The conference was intended for representatives of the public, area activists and field personnel of the Litvish party and is was expected to be the first in a series of meetings ahead of the elections.
Speakers included Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky, HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein, HaGaon HaRav Yosef Efrati, MK Moshe Gafne and others. The event was emceed by Yitzchak Pindrus.
