One must be aware that during election campaigns, there is a sharp increase in fake news, but one must also realize that not all annoying and disturbing news is ‘fake news’.

It is explained that some prefer sensationalist ‘fake news’ over dry boring real news, and this leads to more of an increase of fake news year-round, with an emphasis on election campaign time.

We are told that if one is not familiar with the news broadcaster or anchor, as seen on a webpage which looks authentic, but is really a propaganda site based on disseminating news regarding Iran.
