In the Deir Istiya area in Shomron, a bus driver was attacked as a boulder was hurled at the vehicle, resulting in damage.
United Hatzalah Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit volunteers treated one woman for shock after the bus was targeted outside of Deir Istiya in Shomron.
The bus continued travelling to N’vei Menachem where the responders met up with the bus and began treatment of the woman.
No other injuries were reported.
It was first believed that gunfire was directed at the bus, but inspection of the vehicle and the scene by security forces led to the determination that a large boulder was hurled at the vehicle.
Rescuers Without Borders Yehuda and Shomron adds that since the beginning of the year, there have been 408 rock-throwing attacks which have been reported, adding clearly there have been many more that are not reported. 29 people were injured in those attacks; 20 civilians, 7 soldiers and 2 border policemen.
