The Finance Ministry has released a report which includes some of the salaries to municipal employees in Jerusalem in 2017. Seven Senior municipal officials are earning a monthly gross salary of over 45,000 shekels according to a Finance Ministry report addressing 2017.
In first place is head of the city’s finances, who earns a gross monthly salary of 56,927 shekels, and with all the additional payments his employer, i.e. the Jerusalem municipality must make, the total salary comes to 74,083 shekels.
Second place is a work in the city sanitation division with a monthly salary of 50,464 shekels.
Third place goes to the city’s general manager with a monthly gross salary of 48,420 shekels.
Fourth place goes to the city’s chief veterinary officer, earning 47,978 shekels.
Fifth-place close to the head of the city sanitation department earning an average monthly salary of 47,380 shekels.
The attached photo is a screenshot of the Finance Ministry report on the salaries. Others mention on the chart include the city’s legal advisor, Eli Malka, with a gross money salary of 43,526 shekels. The city’s chief engineer, Shlomo Eshkol earns 42,509 shekels a month. The city’s head of human resources earns 40,427 shekels monthly, and the chief architect follows with a monthly salary of 40,246 shekels.

what are you trying to show here, that people who take responsibility for running a major city get paid $10,000-15,000 a month? I think that is on par with most major cities. That the Israeli tax system costs employers 50% extra? I think we knew that already.
