Another toddler died of a case of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) on Sunday evening. The child, a one-and-a-half-year-old infant was found in its home in Jerusalem lying in its crib. The child was laid down for a nap and R”L never woke up.
Volunteers from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom rushed to the location and attempted to resuscitate the child but to no avail, and paramedics were forced to pronounce the death of the child.
United Hatzalah dispatched its Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit in order to help provide emotional stabilization for the family of the infant, including the parents and older siblings. Members of the unit remained with the older siblings and watched over them as the parents went to the hospital with the infant until other family members could arrive and take care of the children.

Yeshiva World published the heading of this article incorrectly and it should be amended immediately. A child who is R”L niftar at this age is by definition NOT a SIDS death. The use of the term SIDS needs to be accurate as this incorrect use of the term instills fear in parents giving the impression that SIDS occurs at this age. It does not. There could have been a number of causes of death in this poor child but SIDS is a term never used in this unfortunate scenario due to the age of the child. Below is a definition of SIDS:
“Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is the unexplained death, usually during sleep, of a seemingly healthy baby less than a year old. SIDS is sometimes known as crib death because the infants often die in their cribs.
Although the cause is unknown, it appears that SIDS might be associated with defects in the portion of an infant’s brain that controls breathing and arousal from sleep”(Source-Mayo Clinic)
Was this child recently vaccinated? Many infants and toddlers die shortly after vaccination and the deaths are ruled as SIDS or SUDC, Sudden Unexpected Death in Childhood, which is just a loop hole category that lacks positive diagnostic criteria. But the child was killed, poisoned, by vaccines.
