Israel Police working with border police and IDF units arrested two Palestinian suspects for the illegal possession of weapons as a handgun was found in the handbag of the woman in the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Tlat, near Tulkarem, which is located in the IDF’s Ephraim Brigade district.

Security forces operated during the night between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, March 14, 2019, acting on intelligence information regarding weapons and ammunition in that village. Then the search of a home, they found an FN handgun in a woman’s handbag as well as a full magazine. In addition, they found additional ammunition for different weapons scattered throughout that home.

To suspects in their 30s and 40s, residents of the village, were taken into border police custody.
