MKs from the dati leumi Bayit Yehudi party are receiving threats via SMS text messages, the Kippa website reports. With the Peri Share the Burden Committee expected to vote on Sunday evening, 17 Sivan 5773, the pressure and anger against the dati leumi lawmakers seems to be increasing.
The WhatsApp application is being used to disseminate the cellular telephone numbers of MKs to the chareidi tzibur and the elected officials are receiving warnings, threats and insults via the smartphones.
A number of weeks ago, Bayit Yehudi MK Ayelet Shaked was under SMS attack for giving an ultimatum to Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita.

Why threat if we can do it the legal way?
Most religious Jews agree that Lapid, Bennet and their ilk are Reshaim. What did Jews do in the time of the Rasha Haman? They gathered all Jews, fasted and prayed for 3 days and Haman Harashah had his mapaleh. This is what we have to do and Hashem will help.
I think with the way Chareidim are behaving, it’s they who have to worry about Hashem’s reaction.
I know it’s a crime to ask a Chareidi to take responsibility, especially when they are the recipient of lots of resources provided by the average Israeli, including the funding of Yeshivos. Where is the Hakoras HaTov?
I am very appreciative for the help all of Israel provided in allowing the rebuilding of the Torah world after WWII and I am embarrassed at the borish behavior of some of my people.
While I didn’t support Bennett, the truth is the truth. He approached Shas before Lapid and was rejected in making an alliance, which would have brought together the Torah world. Why not attack Shas for only caring about themselves and not the entire Torah world?
Also, I thought Kosher phones don’t send SMS’?
