MK (Yahadut Hatorah) Yaakov Asher joined in with his fellow chareidi lawmakers, begin out against the Lapid the Blue and White party. Asher also spoke out against Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, who backs the legalization of cannabis. He said, “he wants to get the nation stoned. His election promises are like announcing anyone who runs a red traffic signal will not be held responsible,” Asher added.
Asher was addressing a conference of insurance agents in Eilat. “The closure of S’dei Dov Airport was one of the biggest mistakes of the government of Israel. This is a mistake that will cost us dearly, a lot of money, and it will trap Eilat residents. This is one of the hallmarks of the inefficiency of bureaucracy, administration, and bureaucrats in Israel. I call upon the Prime Minister and Minister of finance to reject this decree.
Asher then went on to attack Feiglin’s backing of the legalization of marijuana. “He wants to get the public stoned… This is not to be taken seriously and is even a joke that a party like this might get for even five seats.”
MK Asher attacked the excess regulation in the Israeli economy: “What they did to insurance agents in recent years is a crazy injustice. Those who are considering voting for Blue and White will remember that the one who brought Salinger to the capital market is Yair Lapid. Remember that on Election Day.”
