Speaking during a debate in Philadelphia hosted by ABC, US Democratic Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama expressed their firm commitment to Israel’s security.

When questioned regarding Iran’s ongoing nuclear independence efforts, Obama stated his administration would do whatever necessary to prevent such a reality.

Going one step further, Clinton stated Iran would be made to understand that an attack against Israel would result in an American retaliation.
