Once again, on Monday morning, balloon bombs launched from Gaza landed in an area inside the Eshkol Regional Council.
The head of the council told the press they are not certain when the balloons landed, and police bomb squad technicians were summoned.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has warned Hamas that if the balloon bombs continue, there will be a price to pay. Clearly, Hamas leaders are well-aware that with Knesset elections less than a month away, the prime minister is not about to rush to order a military operation anywhere, including Gaza, and it appears the terrorist leaders are taking advantage of the situation.
Hamas has also been escalating violence along the Gaza border between Gazans and the IDF, and stepped-up violence and cross-border attacks have become increasingly commonplace in recent weeks.
