Bereaved Mother Angered at the Lack of Gov’t Concern

In addition to have more than a few words of criticism for the government and its lack of concern for southern area residents, Hadassah Ovdati, the mother of IDF Sgt. Matan Ovdati, one of three soldiers killed in battle on Wednesday morning, on Thursday explained that not even a single government minister bothered to attend her son’s funeral.

“Not one of them could bother to take part in our loss, the flower that I lost, that we all lost.”

In an interview on Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Thursday morning, she added the current realities are not acceptable and the government must begin treating the southern area and its residents as regular.
