Three soldiers remain hospitalized, in Soroka Hospital in Beersheva and Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. The three are listed in moderate and light condition.

Benny David Magen, the father of one soldier, told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Thursday morning that he remains optimistic that the wounded will heal and return to good health, stating he knows his son is looking forward to returning to his unit.

Oded Magen David is in the plastic surgical unit of Soroka, reported in stable condition. A second Givati soldier is reported in moderate condition.

The soldier in Barzilai is reported in light-to-moderate condition.

Three Givati Brigade soldiers fell in the line of duty during the predawn hours on Wednesday morning as they were engaging terrorists near the Gaza border. Other soldiers were wounded in the ongoing fighting in Gaza.
