Defense Minister Ehud Barak remains opposed to calls from senior military commanders to step up the military response to increasing Gaza-based terror.

IDF officials report that once again, Hamas used the period of calm, referring to the month of February, to rearm and prepare for the next wave of warfare.

Barak warns against “responding out of emotion,” explaining Israel must continue exercising restraint despite ongoing attacks from Gaza.

Earlier in the week, the defense minister stated that while the solution to the ongoing rocket attacks is not an instantaneous one, a solution does exist and it will be implemented.
