Israel has issued a stern warning to the Hamas regime in Gaza, to halt the growing rioting along the border to Israel or face the consequences. According to a Ynet report, Israel and Hamas continue to negotiate, albeit indirectly, with Egypt acting as the intermediary. This is according to a report appearing in the London-based Arabic newspaper, al-Awsat.
The launching of balloon incendiary devices has increased, despite Israeli warnings to hold them. As part of the last cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, the terrorist organization promised to halt the firing of balloon bombs into Israel, however this is not the case in reality.
In a related matter, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared the Hezbollah-affiliated news channel criminal, saying, pursuant to anti-terrorism legislation, signed an order declaring the Hamas “Al Aqsa” (kanah Al Aqsa alfachaya) television channel to be a terrorist organization. The decision follows a recommendation by the ISA and the Defense Ministry national anti-economic terrorism unit, which was pursuant to the ISA’s uncovering of the Hamas terrorist organization’s use of the “Al Aqsa” satellite channel to recruit militants to its ranks.
