According to a Kav Itonut poll, 42.3% of Shas voters feel that the connection between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L in the Shas election campaign is not respectful to Rav Ovadia. 32.5% responded they do not see a problem with the campaign, while 23.6% responded that while they believe it is not proper, if it will bring additional votes it is justified.

The poll in the weekly chareidi newspaper asked respondents what they think about Shas’ election campaign and what do they believe is missing.

• 38.9% feel there is not enough about the party’s accomplishments in the last Knesset
• 33.5% feel the rabbonim of the party are missing
• 24.9% feel the party’s MKs are missing from the campaign.
