According to a report on Kol Chai Radio by Bentzi Lazerovich on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita is calling on all seminary students (girl’s high school) and women to daven at the Kosel on rosh chodesh in response to the women affiliated with the Reform Movement, who announced they are coming in large numbers on Rosh Chodesh Adar II, marking 30 years of their rosh chodesh activities at the Kosel.
According to announcements by Women of the Wall (WoW), when rosh chodesh is two days, their activities are held on the second day, and in this case, Rosh Chodesh Adar II, it will be erev Shabbos, Friday, March 8, 2019.
WoW is calling the event “30 years of activism“, and are hopeful the turnout will be significant. In fact, WoW is having a weekend of events, including “Kabalat Shabbat sing-along” and havdalah.
