The latest Walla News poll, released on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, shows the Blue and White party of Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid continues to emerge the victor, earning 36 seats as opposed to 31 for Likud. However, the right-wing maintains a small majority, signaling that even if Blue and White wins the election, Gantz may not succeed in forming a coalition government.

Walla News points out this is its first election poll since the establishment of the Blue and White party.

Following are the results of the poll:

Yisrael Beitenu (Avigdor Lieberman), Gesher (Orly Abekasis-Levi), Zehut (Moshe Feiglin), Ra’am Balad (Arab parties), and Yachad (Eli Yishai) do not receive enough votes to enter Knesset.

Who is most suited to be prime minister among the following Blue and White candidates; Benny Gantz, Yair Lapid, Moshe Ya’alon and Gabi Ashkenazi?

Among Blue and White voters, Gantz wins with 64% and among the general voting population, he receives 30%. Only 10% of the general public and 20% of party voters believe Yair Lapid is suited.
