A toddler was burned by boiling oil in her home in Petach Tikvah on Monday evening.

According to United Hatzalah EMT Moti Dahan, the accident occurred in the kitchen, with the two-year-old girl being burned on her upper body. The child was transported to a hospital in moderate condition.

EMS officials remind parents of the many accident which occur in the kitchen as a result of not paying attention to pots on the stove for a moment, or the same concerning hot water kettles, electric of otherwise, as small children are curious and unaware of the dangers surrounding their curiosity.
