Despite continuous travel warnings detailing some of the security hazards of visiting Egypt, large numbers of Israelis will still opt to spend their Pesach in Mitzrayim (Egypt).
While ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) warnings advise Israelis not to visit Sinai, some 50,000 locals are expected to do just that, visit Egypt to mark our exodus from slavery.
Just Tuesday evening, Egyptian forces were involved in a manhunt for a terror cell believed to be planning a major attack in the area. This however does not appear to be an impetus for travelers to change their plans.
