IDF soldiers escaped injured on Tuesday night when an RPG rocket struck their armored vehicle in Kerem Shalom, near Gaza. The vehicle sustained damage in the attack but the soldiers emerged unscathed.

Hamas terrorists in 2006 successfully abducted soldier Gilad Shalit during an attack in Kerem Shalom. Shalit remains captive today, about to mark his second Pesach in the hands of terrorists.
