A Likud election campaign spot which shows the kevarim of IDF soldiers in the backdrop has come under attack, resulting in an apology for the video by Likud, against Benny Gantz, a video that has already been taken down. Right-wing journalist Avishai Ivri warns listeners that Gantz is a dangerous leftist and if elected, hundreds will be killed, as viewers see the cemetery in the background.
The accompanying photo, which was taken from a screen capture of the now banned video, which is against Benny Gantz and his Blue and White party, as Likud labels him being “dangerous”, and viewers see the kevarim in the background. The video claims that if Gantz becomes Israel’s next prime minister, hundreds will be killed, leading to outrage, primarily because of Likud’s decision to show the military cemetery in the background of the person speaking. Opposition was not just from the political arena, but from at least one organization which represents fallen IDF soldiers.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was quick to implement damage control, ordering the removal of the video as seen, from the Likud TV Facebook page, and issuing an apology. Party officials called the video an “unfortunate error”, and they reassure the tzibur that PM Netanyahu will personally make sure such an error does not occur again in the future.
Mr. Netanyahu tweeted “As a bereaved brother who has been visiting his brother’s z”l kever in Har Herzl for the last 43 years, I fully understand the pain of the families.
— Benjamin Netanyahu (@netanyahu) February 26, 2019
The video was removed almost immediately, prior to Mr. Netanyahu departing for his trip to Russia where he is meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

Sounds and acts more Trumpian every day….PFC Bonesupur Trump is staying at the JWMariott in downtown Hanoi, about 3 or 4 km from the site of the Hanoi Hilton, the infamous POW prison where John McCain was held for 5 years. You might think he would take out an hour or two to pay tribute to American POWs who died in Vietnam (either at the HH site or other sites nearby) but just like his Paris visit this summer, not a chance. He likes to wrap himself in the flag and have photo ops with soldiers in the background but doesn’t seem to have much time for those who died while he was being treated for a life-threatening bone spur.
A bunch of sore losers! The left act and incite Lies all the time then cry when someone does something against them that’s TRUE!
