In a difficult event, a mother in her 60s was brought to a kupat cholim branch in Bnei Brak on Monday morning, and she was struck with a vehicle and moderately injured by her daughter who was at the wheel as they were arriving.
The incident occurred near the HMO office in Bnei Brak, when the woman was hit by the vehicle driven by her daughter. The mother and daughter arrived at the Achiya Street branch of the kupat cholim for medical care and for some reason, which police are probing, the daughter hit the gas instead of brake when mom was crossing in front of the vehicle.
Both Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah responded and the injured mother was transported with a head injury to Tel Hashomer Hospital. Police have launched an investigation and accident investigators responded to the scene to gather evidence and document what occurred.
