A woman in her 30s was critically injured on Monday morning when she was struck by a train in the Ayalon district, near the Rehovot station. Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah responded to the scene, and MDA paramedics transported to the woman to Kaplan Hospital in the city with multisystem trauma.

United Hatzalah EMT Chananel Kapach reports that the woman sustained massive trauma after being struck by the train.

The reports do not indicate if the woman was hit as a result of accident or if she intentionally entered the tracks ahead of the oncoming train.
