The IDF, at times working with other agencies, including the ISA (Israel Security Agency/Shin Bet), border police and Israel Police, continues daily efforts to prevent terrorist attacks, usually making arrests based on intelligence information obtained by making arrests of residents of PA (Palestinian Authority) areas.

On Wednesday night, security forces operating in Yehuda, Shomron and the Jordan Valley, arrested 17 suspects, PA residents suspected of involvement in terror attacks and/or violent confrontations with security forces.

Five arrests were made in the village of Luban a-Sharqiya in the Gush Shilo district of Shomron, persons suspected of taking part in attacks along Route 60, the main vehicular route through Yehuda and Shomron.
