SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations in PA-controlled Tulkarem arrested three suspects on Sunday night. They were turned over to the GSS (General Security Service/ Shin Bet) for questioning.

*Security remains high as Passover approaches. A closure on PA residents of Yehuda and Shomron likely.

*Israel concerned regarding US Saudi fighter jet deal

*Machsom Watch: 46 PA residents held at checkpoint for 16 hours. IDF investigating.

*POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Or Yehuda resident Dato Mansharove, 32, being held in China without charges for over 3.5 months for smuggling cell phones, the Jerusalem Post online reports.

*15 persons, including 6 firefighters and 6 children were transported to Beilinson and Sharon Hospitals in Petach Tikvah on Sunday night after a smoke grenade was hurled into a building as firefighters were working to control a blaze. Victims complained of symptoms related to the smoke grenade including burning of their eyes. Police are investigating.

*Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik confident the Kadima Party will continue leading the country for a long time.

*PA negotiator Dr. Saeb Erekat: Israel and PA in agreement regarding Gaza ceasefire.

*The cabinet on Sunday voted to close Strategic Affairs Ministry.
