While Finance Minister (Yesh Atid) Yair Lapid continues efforts to gain support for the state budget, the Union of Local Authorities, representing local government around Israel, is threatening a strike beginning on Monday, 4 Sivan 5773.
If the union makes good on its threat, all local government services will halt on Monday, including garbage collection, issuing parking summonses, City Hall office hours and a great deal more.
Officials feel that the proposed state budget is a non-starter vis-à-vis proposed cuts to local government, explaining the situation following the passing of the budget will be untenable.

Free parking? Whoo hoo! I will burn my garbage anyday in exchange for that!
