SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*PA: The Israel Air Force has targeted the home of a senior al-Aqsa commander in the Sheikh Radwan area, in the Gaza City corridor. There are reports of damage. No additional information at this time.

*Four border policemen sustained light injuries when a stun grenade was hurled at their vehicle in Hawarah in Shomron, north of Tapuach Junction.

*A soldier was lightly injured in a rock-throwing attack against a bus near Hizme, and Arab village located on Jerusalem’s northern border.

*An Arab youth was apprehended infiltrating into southern Israel from Gaza near Alumim on Sunday.

*An Israeli who entered Bet Lechem on Sunday morning was apprehended by PA security and turned over to the IDF.

*Two terrorists were killed and three injured in a ‘work accident’ in Gaza this morning. They were preparing explosives. They reported the incident as an IAF attack but air force officials stated there was no attack.

*A Qassam rocket was fired into southern Israel near noontime. No injuries. Earlier in the morning, five mortar shells landed in the Kerem Shalom area, the same area from which Hamas terrorists abducted IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit. There were no injuries in mortar shell attacks.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations in Yehuda and Shomron on Saturday night made two arrests, in Jalma and Jalazoun. No injuries reported.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*56 MKs have signed a letter calling on Public Security Minister Avi Dichter to raze the Jabel Mukaber home of he Merkaz HaRav terrorist.

*Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) on Sunday evening are meeting in the Prime Minister’s Residence.

*Israel Railways violated the Shabbos, running the Lod-Tel Aviv line about a half hour before the end of Shabbos. The train passed through Kfar Chabad, disturbing their Shabbos. Chareidi MKs called on Transportation Ministry officials to investigate.

*Netanyahu: Olmert is making the same mistake then PM Ehud Barak made in Camp David 2, exhibiting a willingness to give away everything and receiving nothing in return.
