Serious AM Rush Hour MVA On Route 38 Near Beit Shemesh Leaves 10 Injured, Some Seriously


Ten persons were treated by EMS personnel in the motor vehicle accident on Route 38 near Eshtaol early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2019, including four persons listed in serious condition, one moderate and five light. They were transported by IDF chopper and ambulances to the trauma units and emergency rooms of Hadassah Ein Kerem and Shaare Zedek Hospitals in Jerusalem.

Magen David Adom received the call at 5:50AM Wednesday morning, for a serious accident between a minibus and a truck on Route 38 near Eshtaol, in the direction of Mesilas Tzion. Route 38 was shut down from north to south between the area connecting to the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway. Traffic was rerouted to Route 44.
