It was about two weeks ago when YWN-Israel published a photo of the helmet of an officer in the IDF paratroopers, a helmet that was struck by sniper fire from Gaza. The incident occurred near the Kissufim Crossing as IDF soldiers were dealing with rioting along the Gaza border. The soldier was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center, miraculously in stable condition.

The Lebanese Al-Mayadeen news service has now released video footage of that attack, showing the moment sniper fire struck the officer’s helmet.
