Government officials reject the accuracy of statements released by Palestinian Authority regarding the almost-exhausted fuel supply that will lead to a cessation of electricity in Gaza.

A PA official on Saturday announced that if Israel does not resume fuel deliveries to the PA, the electric plant will shut down in 48 hours.

In Israel, officials state there is adequate fuel for the time being, adding the resumption of operations at the Nachal Oz fuel depot will only follow a revamping of security procedures following the recent fatal terror attack that claimed the lives of two Israeli civilian employees.
