According to a United Hatzalah Northern District report, there were eight light casualties in a fire that broke out in Tiveria on Wednesday morning.
The injured have been treated so far by United Hatzalah after being rescued by firefighters from the building, the Arazim Compound in the city.
According to EMT Avraham Chaim Tuval, who was on site, “The injured (including a mother and a girl of about two years old), were evacuated by UH ambulances and a private ambulance to Poriah hospital, suffering from respiratory problems due to smoke inhalation.”
Magen David Adom reports there was a total of 26 persons injured, of which 17 were transported to hospital for light smoke inhalation.
