Three suspects have been arrested by Jerusalem police following a robbery/assault that occurred this past Shabbos.

Police were summoned on Shabbos after a taxi driver reported he was robbed and assaulted by a number of suspects who blocked his vehicle with theirs, and later fled the scene.

Police responded immediately, setting up check points in the area as well as road blocks. These actions led to the arrests of the three suspects, who had an item that was stolen from the taxi driver in their possession. Police add that in addition to the driver, a woman also fell prey to the same suspects.

They are to be arraigned.
