HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita, head of the Shas Moetzas Chachmei HaTorah, was hospitalized in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Sunday night.

On shabbos, shortly before seudas shlishis, the rav tripped as he was sitting in a seat in a beis medrash in Yeshivat Bnei Akiva in Kfar HaRoeh, where Yeshivat Porat Yosef was having a Shabbos event.

B’chasdei Hashem the rav did not suffer a fracture, but when he was checked by a physician on Sunday, the doctor wanted him checked in a hospital, where he underwent a number of tests and was released on Monday. He spent the night in Hadassah.
