TEHILLIM: Bnei Brak Man Seriously Injured on Trip to Kivrei Tzaddikim in Poland


A 26-year-old Seret-Vishnitz chossid from Bnei Brak was seriously injured on Sunday morning in Poland, when the vehicle he was traveling in flipped over.

The man was in Poland to be mispallel at kivrei tzaddikim

The accident occurred just after he was in Lizhensk, Poland, the city of the tziyun of Rav Elimelech of Lizhensk ZT”L.

From Lizhensk, Yitzchak headed to Dinov, to the tziyun of the Bnei Yissaschar ZT”L, but when they were 25 minutes from their destination, it appears the vehicle overturned a number of times due to icy conditions. The driver of the vehicle sustained non-serious injuries. Yitzchak was trapped inside and had to be extricated from the wreckage by the local fire department. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

It is reported the hospital did stabilize his condition and B’chasdei Hashem he is not in life-threatening danger, and persons affiliated with the Mosdos Bnei Yissaschar, those who maintain the tziyun, learn there, and host guests, are working to assist in any way they can.

The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Yitzchak ben Ahuva Shoshana for a refuah shleima bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.

  1. people from Israel do not have to leave Eretz Yisroel to visit kivrei tzaddikim. as RSZA ztl advised talmidim, if you want to visit kivrei tzaddikim, just go the Mount Herzl cemetery where those who gave their lives fighting for the State of Israel are buried.

  2. due to icy conditions I was in Poland last winter, and believe me:- It is excruciatingly frigid out there:- Hence these black frocks & streimels from Poland, definitely belong over there, but not in hot American & Israeli summers.
