The Maya Company on Wednesday released a recall for Moroccan paprika with oil after learning too many were infested and unusable. The recall refers to the product with an expiration date of 7/2019.
The company adds to be on the cautious side, one should open one’s product and check they it is insect free. One may call the customer service number at 073-228-7918.
Maya promises to do its best to avoid future infestation problems with its products.

Doesn’t this product bear the hechsher of the Eida Charedis? Are housewives really expected to check grains of oiled paprika? Surely MIA should just say, give it back and we will replace it.

Mia is one of those low level companies that can only sell its inferior products to those super frum people who will only buy eida charada stuff. I try to avoid it, since it produces such inferior products it is not worth using….
