A left-wing activist, a reported European national was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon 18 Iyar 5773 after attacking an IDF soldier in Hebron and trying to take his weapon.

According to reports, the suspect attacked the soldier after the latter came to the assistance of three Jewish youths being attacked by an Arab. The soldier was uninjured in the attack.
