Following Wednesday’s terror attack in the Nachal Oz area, which claimed the lives of two civilian employees, Hamas has released statements that it will step-up efforts to carry out terrorist attacks aimed at bringing an end to the embargo on Gaza.

Following the attack, Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced Israel views the Hamas regime in Gaza as the responsible party for the attack. Senior security officials stated that such an attack could not have been perpetrated without the knowledge of and approval of Hamas.

Barak released the standard statements, committing to continue an unyielding war against the Hamas infrastructure in Gaza.
