During the night, police arrested a suspect who stabbed his friend in yeshiva, apparently the result over an argument about the use of clothes.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2018, during the evening, police received a report of stabbing and assault in a yeshiva in southern Jerusalem. A police force arrived, and an initial investigation revealed that, following a quarrel between two bochrim about the use of clothes, the suspect stabbed the victim with a sharp object, hit him and ran away. The victim was evacuated for medical treatment. He is in stable condition.
Police investigators and members of the forensics laboratory arrived at the scene and began a lengthy investigation, gathering evidence and finding advanced technology. The suspect was found hiding in a house in the south of the country. Police arrested the suspect.
On Thursday, the suspect, in his 20s, was arraigned and the court extended his remand until January 13th to permit investigators to continue probing the case without his interference.

מלחמתה של בני תורה בגלל בגדים
once the bochrim who learned in yeshiva were erhlicht and highly intelligent, but that was 50 years ago and more. Today, all kinds of boys learn in yeshivas and many have all kinds of problems.
In one way, it is good that more boys are in yeshivas, in another way, it brings down the image of yeshiva bochrim….
Problem is not the “image” but the metzius. One drop of poison in a bottle of water endangers all who drink from the bottle.
What a stupid comment. The boys today are ehrlich and good as well. There are always some problems , we are human beings after all. You think there were never any problems? Gimme a break
We are going to reap what we sow. I have posted many times that while once Yeshiva Bochrim would have Sterling character, fine Middos, And NEVER leave Bais Medrash, there Is a new phenomenon in Yiddishkeit, that emulates the ways of the Goyim to teach kids and boys and young men to hang out in Streets, yell and curse in Streets, and to riot in streets. THIS BEHAVIOR will spill over in personal relationships, because Derech Eretz Is not being taught, and also now every boy is just being placed in Yeshiva, whereas YEARS AGO ONLY THE TOP 20% of a Class would Learn in Kollel, now every guy who just sits and Shmoozes with his buddies is there instead of learning Accounting to stay out of trouble and have a productive life.
To: luckshun kugel On the morning of November 1, 1986, a 15-year-old Jewish boy named Chaim Weiss was found murdered in his school dormitory in Long Beach, New York. Chaim was an Orthodox Jew who lived in the dormitory of his yeshiva.
Unfortunately, there have always been bad apples in yeshivas. Chaim Weiss is still screaming from his grave for justice of the murderer who killed him. Nebech they have been protecting the killer all these years. R’L
Surly it was an argument over the psak of a ר’ עקיבא אגר
I remember the Long Beach story. Are you suggesting that it was an inside job?
