A 14-year-old girl was stabbed and wounded in her neck while waiting at a bus stop on Alkachai Street in Jerusalem’s Armon HaNatziv Street on Wednesday morning. The victim was transported to the trauma unit of Shaare Zedek Hospital in the capital. While her condition was initially listed as light-to-moderate, officials in the hospital report her condition to be light Baruch Hashem.
The girl, who was conscious and alert during transport, told police she was attacked by an Arab man at the bus stop. The attacker fled the scene.
For reasons that are unclear, police are uncertain of the motive, which appears to be terror, stating the attack is under investigation towards determining the motive.
