Hundreds of foreigners are visiting Sderot monthly, wishing to get a first hand view of the city that is constantly bombarded with rockets and mortar shells.

As a result, the Foreign Ministry has opened a satellite office in the southern city to facilitate dealing with the many visitors.

Sderot is a high priority today in the government’s propaganda war against Hamas, and all official visitors are taken for a tour of the city, as they are taken to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, with the government working to drive the message home regarding ongoing PA warfare.

The satellite office also furnishes information to journalists visiting the city from around the world.
