A three-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood of Jerusalem on Monday afternoon. His injuries are described as serious as he was hit by a passing car.
The boy was heading home from talmid torah when he was hit and sustained a head injury outside his home. Police on the scene detained the driver for questioning.
Hadar Elboim, spokesperson for Hadassah Hospitals, reported the child was brought into Hadassah Ein Kerem’s trauma unit by MDA paramedics in serious condition. After the initial assessment, his condition was reported to be serious and he is connected to assisted breathing apparatus and medically sedated.
