Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has accused Naftali Bennet of sabotaging the right-wing camp by breaking from his Bayit Yehudi party to launch the New Right party, together with colleague Ayelet Shaked. The prime minister lamented the move, blaming Bennet with jeopardizing a future right-wing government following elections as he is splintering the right-wing with yet another party.

Mr. Netanyahu is now considering dismissing both Education Minister Bennet and Justice Minister Shaked from his cabinet in response to their actions, Chadashot News reported on motzei Shabbos. This is in response to calls from Bayit Yehudi MKs who are angered over their actions, which include leaving the party with a NIS 22 million debt, which they are no longer responsible for.

The report added that Mr. Netanyahu is considering the move, which he realizes may backfire and have the opposite effect by turning them into martyrs.
