An Israeli bus driver was lightly injured Saturday night in a shooting attack near the settlement of Beit El in the central West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces said. In a statement, the army said that soldiers were searching the area for suspects in the attack, which also damaged the bus.
Palestinian terrorists reportedly threw molotov cocktails at Jewish cars driving on Moshe Dayan Boulevard in Jerusalem. 10 firebombs were thrown in total in an attempt to injure or kill Jewish drivers. Security forces closed off Moshe Dayan Boulevard in the direction of Pisgat Ze’ev in order to allow the Fire and Rescue Crews to put out the fires. Security forces used crowd-dispersing ammunition to chase the terrorists away from the security fence.
Police arrested a 24-year-old woman who was driving at a speed of 215 kilometers per hour (133 MPH). The driver had three passengers in the car including another adult woman, a two-year-old child, and an eleven-year-old child.
A 22-year-old man was moderately injured after violence broke out on Chotmei HaMegila Street in Rosh Ha’ayin. Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah medical teams treated the injured man who sustained a head injury, and transported him to the hospital.
On Saturday night, gunshots were heard near the city of Migdal Oz in Gush Etzion. The Gunshots were reportedly shot from the Palestinian town of Beit Fajr, located near the Jewish town. A large number of security forces and first responders were dispatched to the scene but no injuries or damage was reported.
Close to 1,000 people protested outside of the Prime Minister’s residence due to the arrest of teenagers by Israel’s Security Services (Shabak) in an attempt to find answers in a case that the Shabak has not made any progress in.
Heads of the regional council’s in Judea and Samaria, Yossi Dagan, Yisrael Gantz, and Eliyahu Lieberman as well a s various Rabbis and community leaders participated in the protest. So far numerous teenagers have been arrested, but no information has been forthcoming and a media censorship ban with regards to the case has been put in place by the police.
Israeli airline Arkia has offered to help transport any Israeli tourist affected by the storms in Thailand back to Israel at severely discounted prices. Israelis residing in or visiting the country are being offered the chance to fly back to Israel on Sunday or Monday but have to make their own way to Bangkok in order to get on a flight. The flights are being offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The Tiberias (Tevaria) marathon took place on Friday. More than 6,000 runners participated. Israeli runner Imru Almaya won the race with a time of 2:15:16 and will represent Israel in the upcoming olympic games.

United Hatzalah of Israel, who provided medical coverage for the runners at the marathon treated 59 runners during the race, among which, three were sent to the hospital.
A 60-year-old man was killed on Friday in an apartment fire that broke out in his building in Kiryat Shmonah on Ahad Ha’am Street. Medical teams from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah performed CPR on the man while transporting him to Ziv Hospital in Tzefat. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead in the hospital.
