A vehicle plunged 30 meters down a ravine in Northern Israel on Tuesday morning, and a rescue operation was needed to extricate the occupant.
Israel Police say the accident occurred on the slopes of Yishuv Birya towards the Ein Zeitim Junction.
Three fire rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
The teams took action to extricate the trapped occupant of the vehicle from the wadi. After a short time, the firefighters rescued a trapped woman by using climbing ropes and a basket stretcher. The woman was handed over for medical treatment.
Birya is an agricultural village in northern Israel located in the Upper Galil near Tzefas. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Merom HaGalil Regional Council.
