Information Pertaining to Egged Advanced Ticket Sales for Lag B’Omer

egednnEgged is operating 15 advanced ticket sales locations for those wishing to purchase tickets to and from Meron for Lag B’Omer, the daily HaMevaser reports. With Lag B’Omer falling on a Sunday this year, the lighting of the torch by the Boyaner Rebbe Shlita will take place very late on motzei Shabbos. The start of the day’s events is pushed of a number of hours in the hope of preventing chilul Shabbos.

Based on the success of previous years Egged is offering advanced ticket sales in many chareidi areas, seeking to avoid the confusion that was synonymous with Lag B’Omer prior to the implementation of the advanced reservations. Tickets will state departure location and time towards permitting Egged to plan ahead.
