On Tuesday, the official signing of a coalition agreement between Meretz and Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon is scheduled to take place. The main points of the agreement is that Meretz will receive the Advancement of Women portfolio, Quality of Service portfolio, and during the second half of the five-year term, the Senior Citizens portfolio.

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon: “Today we have made history as the Meretz faction joined the broad coalition we are establishing after five years of opposition, and I welcome this and believe that the Leon coalition will proudly represent all the city’s population.”

Chairman of the Jerusalem Meretz faction, Laura Warton: “I hope that we will do good for all the residents of the city and wish us all great success”.
