Beit Shemesh Mayor Aliza Bloch on Sunday, visited the city’s fire and rescue station, meeting with commanders and firefighters. The mayor was accompanied by members of the city’s emergency and security personnel, and they met with Fire Commander Eli Peretz, who gave them the grand tour.

After the tour, a meeting was held in cooperation with the station commander, the staff of the station command, the city’s mayor and senior municipal officials.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the fire and rescue station in Beit Shemesh, with the help of the information department of firefighting and rescue to Israel, will increase public awareness in Beit Shemesh, with an emphasis on dedicated information tailored to the unique community fabric of Beit Shemesh.

In addition, it was agreed to increase the cooperation between the municipality of Beit Shemesh and firefighters and rescue in the Beit Shemesh station in routine and emergency situations.
